ZenSounds is a simple ambient sound mixer for relaxation, focus and calm listening. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use this website.
Information we collect
ZenSounds does not require an account and does not ask you to submit personal information to use the sound mixer.
If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry.
Audio playback and saved mixes
The website plays audio files directly in your browser. Volume, tempo and playback choices are handled locally in the browser during your visit.
If you choose to save a custom mix or mark sounds as favorites, ZenSounds stores the mix name, selected sounds, volume levels, tempo settings and favorite sound IDs in your browser's local storage on your device. Saved mixes and favorites are not sent to our server and can be deleted from the website or cleared through your browser settings.
If you use the “Share your mix” feature, the selected sounds, volume levels and tempo settings are encoded into the share link so another visitor can load the same mix.
Analytics
ZenSounds may use Google Analytics to understand website usage and performance. ZenSounds currently does not display advertising panels inside the sound mixer.
Google Analytics and related Google services may use cookies or similar technologies to measure performance, prevent abuse and understand website usage, depending on your consent choices.
Cookies and consent choices
ZenSounds does not require an account to use the sound mixer. Where required, visitors should be shown consent choices for analytics technologies before those technologies are used for purposes that require consent.
You can also manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking or clearing browser storage may remove saved mixes or affect analytics preferences.
